  • We look for attorneys with a transactional law background, an active license to practice, and malpractice insurance (or a willingness to obtain it). Beyond that, we value lawyers who are genuinely interested in technology and excited to work within an AI-enabled platform.

  • To build real momentum in your practice, we ask firms and practitioners in the network to commit a minimum of 20 hours per week. Beyond that, volume depends on the scope of your client engagements and can grow over time. The decision to accept, continue, or expand any engagement for legal services is managed solely between each customer and network member.

  • Legal professionals who utilize Ontra's Contract Automation platform are requested by customers to review and negotiate high-volume commercial contracts, predominantly investment-related NDAs. The demands, needs, and preferences of each customer will vary, but may include a desire for experience in specific document types and/or in specific industries.

  • Our platform is web-based - all you need to access your Ontra work stream and conduct negotiations is a reliable internet connection and word processing software. . Additionally, any device you use to access our platform will need to meet our security requirements.

  • No. Ontra does not employ the legal professionals who are members of the network. Ontra is not a law firm, and does not provide legal services of any kind. All lawyers utilizing the Ontra Platform in the network practice independently and retain sole control over their attorney-client relationships and the legal services they provide directly to their client(s). Ontra handles a variety of administrative tasks for the network, including invoicing and client billing and collection, to support and help you grow your business.

  • Each customer directly engages a member of the legal network for legal services. Ontra plays no role in negotiating the terms of an engagement between the lawyer and their client or the ultimate decision of either party to accept or continue an engagement.
